Inspired by the wonderful example of Jess in RCP, who sent a flower her grandparents and her cousins to cheer them up, Mrs Smith launched a wonderful new Spring into Spring project for the whole school, called FLOWERS OF HOPE.
Every child and staff member in the school was invited to create a flower-based artwork, whether in 2D or 3D, on paper or in sculpture, and deliver it into school before half-term.
Our Link Corridor window above reception (where our Advent Calendar lights were: see video below) is now a riot of colour and flowers. Every passerby can see them and be cheered by the colour, creativity and hope expressed by our children.
