Before Easter, children across the school were invited to write their hopes, thoughts, wishes and prayers for Ukraine on a piece of card. This provided the whole school with an opportunity to reflect on the dreadful situation in Ukraine, but, more importantly, offer a message of hope. The children created a flag in the Millennium Hall. From more than 600 hopes and prayers, we selected 80 across a range of year groups to share with you. The children were keen to express their support to those facing uncertainty, suffering and hardship in Ukraine in words that make sense to them at their age and stage in life.
