Introducing our new Bursar

The changing of the guard!

We are so pleased to welcome Gareth Atkinson as our new Bursar. Gareth has come to us from Kensington Prep and will carry on the work of leading all non-teaching services at the school. Central to the role is oversight of all the administration and financial systems operated through the Bursary. His remit will also include a range of other services such as the maintenance and enhancement of the school buildings, the catering provision, and the uniform shop.

Over the upcoming term, Gareth will be periodically joining welcome staff on gate duty at drop-off so do say hello! 

Meanwhile, we busied ourselves, just after the end of term, in saying goodbye to Peter Farrelly, our outgoing Bursar, who is retiring after 15 years to take another helm: that of his bespoke long-boat Barbarella (named for the club in which Peter met his wife Noni!). We are so sorry to see him go, but were delighted to be able to be able to raise a safe drink to him in person at school and to wish him good health after his near-fatal experience with the Covid-19 virus. 

We wish him Happy Sailing and many adventures ahead....
