PICK-UP ARRANGEMENTS for Cadogan Hall

PICK-UP ARRANGEMENTS for Cadogan Hall
Event Parents

All Upper School Parents should by now have booked for our End of Year Celebrations at Cadogan Hall.

For those who are new to the Cadogan Hall format, may I just confirm that it is far more than a prize-giving, although that inevitably forms an important part of the afternoon’s proceedings, and we would love it if you could come to join us. Parents are invited for 2pm, to sit upstairs in the gallery of the Hall, for an afternoon of musical, dramatic and academic celebration – as well as bidding goodbye to our Year 6s, our Year 8s and departing members of staff. We expect the afternoon to be wrapped up by 4pm.

  • We are taking all children from Years 3-8; they will be transported to Cadogan Hall by coach.
  • At the end of the event (at around 4pm), you will be free to leave with your children, having signed them out with their form teacher. I very much hope that most children will be picked up from Cadogan Hall but we will run a coach to take back to school any children who cannot be picked up from Cadogan Hall – please fill out the form below to confirm how you will be taking your child(ren) away at the end of the event.

If you haven’t yet signed up online to attend Cadogan Hall, we may still be able to squeeze you in: please click here to submit an online request.

On the day

  • Children should come to school in the morning as usual, dressed smartly in their school uniform.
  • We won’t take school bags or PE kits up to Cadogan  Hall; there will be no homework set that night.
  • We will be giving all children a slightly early lunch to avoid rumblings
  • The address of Cadogan Hall is 5 Sloane Terrace, London, SW1X 9DQ
  • If parents can avoid arriving before 1.45pm we would be most grateful; a bar will be open in the reception area from 1.45pm
  • Seating will be allocated, with prize-winners and leavers seated at the front; staff are currently finalising the list of awards so the relevant parents will be contacted soon. As in previous years, the ‘silverware’ will inevitably go to our most senior pupils and books will be presented as a leaving gift to all of our Year 6 and Year 8 leavers. Then there will be form prizes for effort and achievement and some subject prizes awarded; the emphasis, however, is on a celebration of the year.
  • As previously stated, children can go home with their parents directly from Cadogan Hall but you must let us know (see form above!)

There are obviously no school clubs or activities or any reason for children to return to school
