2017 Sports Day for Years 3 & 4 in Battersea Park

They're under starter's orders and they're (nearly) off!

Sports Day 2017 for Years 3-4 takes place on Thursday 8th June, 1pm-4pm at Battersea Park Millennium Arena. To help us all and keep things moving we would really appreciate it if you would carefully read the information below.

Sports Day Kit:

All children in Years 3-4 should arrive at school in kit. As we continue to raise the profile of sport and the House system across the school we ask that all athletes wear the following:

  • House t-shirt
  • Games shorts shorts/skort
  • White ankle socks
  • Trainers

For pupils who do not currently have a House T-shirt they are available from the school shop.

If children are cold they may wear their navy baselayers to keep them warm. If the weather conditions are too poor to run the event, a decision will be made by 8.30am and cancellation notifications will go out via Clarion. We hope however that the weather is good.  With this in mind please ensure your child has a sun hat, sun block and plenty of water available.

Morning lessons will take place as usual. After an early packed lunch in school, children will be escorted in year groups to the park, with the events beginning at 1.00pm. Sports Day finishes with a presentation ceremony at approximately 3.45pm and we request that all children remain in the arena until the end of Sports Day.
