It's hard to keep up with the music scene at Newton Prep at the moment, there's so much going on. This afternoon we have a Year 5 recital and we've already had a couple of both Lower School & Upper School Music Cafes. Since we are always keen to give our musical stars a chance to shine to the whole school, Mrs Fleming has been featuring our top-level performers in assemblies.

"Louis wowed the entire Upper School Assembly with his inspiring Bach cello solo. From the very first bar he demonstrated his mature musicality, playing with both poise and composure, excellently grounded technique and lyrical bowing style. The audience was thrilled. Louis was completely lost in the moment and all who were there to witness it were impressed and affected by his expression and control. Bravo Louis."
