Clubs, Activities & Music

90 after-school clubs or activities in any week
Our pupils have time, space and freedom for creative self-expression.

For bright, sparky children like we have at Newton Prep, the school day does not need to stop at 4pm.

We have a range of sport-based, arts-based and skill-based clubs and activities after-school, run both by Newton Prep staff and outside expert providers.

  • Activities refer to sessions run by peripatetic staff and require the payment of fees.
  • Clubs are hosted by Newton Prep Staff and do not incur a fee.

Music is an integral part of the school curriculum and children are encouraged - though it is by no means compulsory - to play an instrument. Children are taken out of lessons (on a rota basis so that no one subject is affected) for their individual music lessons - and for LAMDA Speech & Drama lessons.

**To sign up for Clubs, Activities and Music, please login to the Parent's Secure Area and fill out our online form there**

At the same time, we ask parents to take into account that their child will also need time to rest, play and complete all academic assignments. For this reason, we recommend that, as a general rule, children participate in no more than two after-school sessions each week.
